This is just one of four Roman Blinds for a customer in Ascot. The side return detail hides the cartridge system and gives the blind a more bespoke finish.

Cartridge Heading looks simple & stylish on this metal pole
A Pelmet really sets off the roman blind beneath
This client project was brought to me via ‘Kelly Sabey Homes’ Interior design She was having her lounge completely updated in greys & dark moody blues and wanted a very ordinary pine & cream tv unit and a small side table transformed to fit in.
The units were painted in Annie Sloan Paris Grey with a final coat of Graphite, distressed back to show the Paris grey through. The tops are Paris grey.
I can’t wait to see them in situ along with these curtains & cushions. The curtain fabric is a Prestigious Fabric in Brodie Pebble
the Cushions are in Wolseley Bainbridge Grey with Linwood Omega Grey velvet on the reverse.
The two windows in this cloakroom are high up and look out onto a private courtyard, so although they didn’t need the privacy, the addition of roman blinds makes the room feel more cosy and adds interest.
the fabric is a Sofa Workshop Dexter’s Linen in Hazelnut @ £39pm. It’s got a great texture and lovely warm colour
I used two different Robert Allen trimmings - Library Pleat in Birch £37pm & Spectr Rouch LP in Stone @£20pm
Texture galore!
This family in Maidenhead wanted to bring some colour into their neutral lounge. Together, they all agreed on a Prestigious Textiles fabric - Passionflower in colour way Paradise. It's lovely intense colour really add some personality into the room. We decided to take the curtains from wall to wall and keep the pole and heading understated but still classic. We chose a Silent Gliss Metropole in Taupe with 80m Wave

This was a whole house project in Brightwell near Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The client had a whole house renovation undertaken by interior designer Kellie Sabey Homes. We brought the scheme to life with various check fabrics giving a cool cozy loon.

Piped in fuchsia pink velvet this grey zig zag print Robert Allen fabric looks fresh and clean. With hand made covered buttons and hand stitched buttonhole detail to add individuality.
This little boys nursery needed something very special at the unique curved corner window.
The 50mm White wood pole was bespoke from Hunter & Hyland, corded and tracked, the fabric sits nicely underneath with no rings to detract from the curtain beneath.
The curtains were a gorgeous blue and white striped linen. I suggested this heading with a contrasting fabric on the inside and a piping to really accentuate the curly cottage heading.
This shows the heading in close up. The stars working well with the stripes of the face fabric.
Ziggy Zaggy Drum lampshade
These cushions are 23" X 23" grey zig zag fabric from Robert Allen, grey textured linen on the back finished with shocking pink velvet piping and two fabrics for the buttons
The Banham Family's Contemporary Thames Ditton Home sits overlooking the river Thames and was gorgeous anyway...but Interior Designer Alison Morton was asked to bring a little extra magic to it.
Although this isn't a usual area for me to cover, I was invited onboard by Alison when her usual curtain maker had to back out due to family illness. I used to live in the area, in fact mine and Alison's sons were school pals, so it was lovely to get re aquatinted after many years.
Beautiful 680cm run of Black sheer Wave curtains on a Silent Gliss 3840 ceiling hung track. We did a single stack back curtain to dress the bi fold doors leading out to the garden.

For the lounge, we kept the curtains simple again, using the same understated white ceiling fix Silent Gliss track with a wave heading. The fabric was really very beautiful with a lovely dusty sheen to it.

In the stairwell, a simple lightly padded pelmet just to dress the window

The office - again a simple lightly padded pelmet but a strong pattern to break up all the smooth surfaces and add texture

The Master Bedroom had a bi fold door within a dorma which made it a bit tricky, so we had just a single stack back again and used a fab silk fabric to add texture & pattern. There is more to be done to this room so I'll probably update latter on

Old French Linen sacks made into scatter cushions 23" X 23" with lovely squishy feather pads.
I did the buttons and a trim in ticking fabric, hand finished the buttonholes and did a blanket stitched bottom edge with navy silk
I've been busy acquiring a new skill, making lampshades.
here are some of them...more to come!
This was a lovely project I worked on with Interior Designer 'Kellie Sabey'
This was a project for interior designer Kelli Sabey. It was a challenge making these Romans as they were larger than my work table and the Romo Black Edition fabric was difficult to work with ... .but I'm really happy with the finish and how delicate they look
