Getting organised in the sweatshop!
Yellow & Grey Geometric cushions
The customer chose a bold yellow geometric fabric and ornate trim. I was a bit worried about how they would blend together, but am very pleased with the result....highly individual.
This close up shows the braiding and the mitred corner in detail.
the trim is Kensington Braid from Samuel & Sons. Fabric was Memphis by Christopher Farr
Brown Velvet Cushions
This fabric was a more measured choice compared to the yellow fabric, but far from being dull, iWork well in contrast to the yellow cushions.
fabric is Finian Cocoa by Kravet available at GP&J Barker
A simple faux blind and pelmet with glass bead trim for my sister Annette's conservatory 💜

This was a little project for my sister...hope she likes them
I loved making these rustic giant floor cushions...I came across a French flour sack and bought it would make a great starting point.
I used a ticking fabric on the reverse and sides along with some other lush fabrics from Robert Allen
Love that you can see the repair stitching on the flour sacks which adds unique character and shows how well used they were in a former life.
Handle with Andrea Fabric logo
Lovely crisp fabric to work with on these two blinds. We thought two would give more flexibility than one large one.
Beautiful pink ombré fabric from Designers Guild....made into a cushion with button and fuzzy trim detail from the #Opus collection @Hallis Hudson
Here are a collection of images from a job I did for my friend & Interior Designer Kellie of 'Kellie Sabie Homes & Gardens'
she wanted a fresh crisp relaxed look to the soft furnishings to compliment the style of her home. We chose linens, in neutral greys and cool whites for the hallway and her bedroom.
Braid detail on the bottom of the hall curtains. We loved the frayed detail of the selvage so we left it showing.
Decided to use some of my spare fabric to make these cushions...the mix of different fabrics was really fun to put together, working out which would work together...
Faux suede with a Casamance check and a Robert Allen yellow damask
Lovely blue toile teamed with a Casamance check wool and a dark blue velvet
Loving the rough rawness of this linen...just what I'm looking for to adorn our hallway!
Loving my newly made oval shades. They're the first oval shades I've attempted and I'm really pleased with them. the papers beautifully mottled and works really well both lit and unlit
i have lots of ideas for other lampshades so watch this space...

A lovely customer recently lost her dad and wanted something made out of his coat as a keepsake. We decided on a pair of cushions with the Selfridges great quality tweed on the front and some other nostalgic fabric for the reverse.
This pic shows button & pocket detail
We set the cushions off with a Hallis Hudson trim - Opus Ruche gold http://www.halliswebshop.com/hh_esa/esa/ItemDetails.jsp?@where.ItemID@EQ=2947R%2F05&sessionkey=KYJK-8JS3-2NRG-CSUI-RGKA-P6QP-UQQS-JUTY
On this one you can see the use of the inside pocket and Selfridges label
On these oblong cushions we used the same fabric on one side and rescued a pair of orange velvet cushions that had been part of her family home and again had huge sentimental value.
we trimmed them with Hallis Hudson Jazz Orange/linen Pom pom
The orange velvet fabric and feather pads were re-cycled from a pair of old family heirloom cushions
Just finishing off a pair of triple pleat blue velvet curtains with covered button detail
Very long 238cm drop, 3 widths each curtain...really heavy! But nearly ready to hang.
